One of the most annoying calls during the peak and off peak period is call from bank telemarketer trying to sell their intangible products.
"Are you free Miss xxxx?"
"err... Short while ok."
"I would like to introduce you to our cash advance program. Have you heard of this?"
"Yes, This is the so-called legalised big ear lobe business."
"???? eee what is it?" took him some time to get back to recovery state, like the hanged Windows XP, then continued with background chuckle. "oh, not like that Miss xxxx." (forever polite with the right address, if call me Madam or Aunty sure i hang off immediately. ) "We wont go to your house and slash paint." (before this fella could finish it, i'd better slash him with my thoughts and scripts.)
"Seriously speaking, would you want your dear family members to engage in a financial situation where you would go for this program and then landed like shit? Would you? Would you?" (pestering for an answer.)
"No.....i mean.....you have to go for a proper channel."
"Oh then why should a banking institution not teaching consumers to manage their money in a proper way, instead of the shitty money lending difficult situation? Again, what would you feel if your family members landed in a difficult situation like they still cant afford to pay back?" (take a big turn and redirect this fella back to the question. All telemarketers really need to think hard rather than being brainwashed by their training program.)
